Best Energy Advisor was founded on a simple observation: most commercial and industrial energy decisions get made from gut feel and a stack of invoices. We bring measurement, engineering and a utility-agnostic view to those decisions.
We are a consulting and advisory company. We don't generate, sell or deliver electricity, and we don't install equipment. We analyze, recommend, and help you manage the contractors, engineers and utility programs that do the implementation — so the decisions are yours, on solid numbers.

Before you reach out
Are you a utility or an electricity company?
No. Best Energy Advisor is a consulting and advisory firm. We don't generate, transmit, sell or deliver electricity, and we're not tied to any utility. That's the point — our advice has no commercial interest in what your utility, a solar vendor or an equipment supplier sells you.
Do you install or perform electrical work?
No. We don't perform construction, installation or maintenance work. Where implementation is required, we help you scope it, compare bids and verify results — carried out by licensed contractors and engineers of your choosing.
What does an engagement cost?
Every engagement is quoted as a fixed fee, so you know the full cost before work begins. Most standard audits and bill reviews are scoped and quoted within five business days of a discovery call. There is no obligation until you sign an engagement letter.
How quickly can you start?
Typically within two weeks of signing, depending on site access and data availability. A utility bill review can often begin remotely the same week you send invoices.
Do you work with utility incentive programs?
Yes. We regularly navigate state and utility incentive programs for Delaware and New Jersey facilities — including Delmarva Power, DUC and DE-EEA programs — handling eligibility screening, pre-investment review and application documentation.
Do you only work on-site, or can you help remotely?
Both. Bill analysis, rate optimization and feasibility screening can start entirely remotely with invoices and one-line diagrams. Site assessments — audits, thermal surveys, load verification — are scheduled on-site at your facility.
